News, Views, Stuff for Private Jet Flight Attendants

Going, going…

…gone! Don’t forget: today is the absolute last day for you to apply for an NBAA Flight Attendant/Flight Technician scholarship.

This year 58 awards are being offered, but like anything you have to “be in it, to win it.”

Best wishes to every applicant. If you win, please log on to our forums and let the world know!

Site Changes

You may have noticed that the navigation to the entire Corporate Flight Attendant Community website has been pulled together. Now, by clicking on the navigation bar, you can seamlessly go from various web pages to the forum, to this blog, over to the catering site and back again.

I really should have done this sooner as it makes sense and is less confusing.

Just so you know, you can still reach several sections directly. For example:

The catering section: http://www.corporatejetcatering.com

The forums: http://www.corporateflyer.net/forum

This blog: http://www.corporateflyer.net/blog

Some of you may have been getting to the forum via www.cabinmanagers.com Effective immediately, entering that information brings you to the home page of this site.

I tested the new navigation layout on two different computers. One with a 1024×768 screen, the other with an 800×600 screen. Definitely, the larger screen is easier on the eyes, but if you have the smaller screen, you will probably want to view the forums and the catering section via the direct addresses given.

Look for more changes…such is life on the internet! Feel free to include your feedback here…tips, suggestions, the good, the bad, and the ugly!

About the AEB…

Many of you know that in addition to managing this site, I also founded and managed the Aviation Employment Board job site. Well, as of this past Tuesday I am no longer the owner of the AEB, having sold the site.

The main reason I sold the AEB was due to time constraints. Running one large site is plenty; running two got to be a bit overwhelming. In addition, my writing business is booming and there is no way I can meet client expectations by trying to juggle it all. So, I decided to sell the AEB and sell it I did.

As always, I’ll continue to post job opportunities on our forums. If you aren’t registered over there, please do so to have full access to the site. In addition, when registered you’ll also be able to participate in our contests. It has been ages since we’ve had one…keep your eyes peeled as things are percolating!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Corporate F/A Dispatch. Don’t let the “official” sounding name fool you…this blog is both serious and carefree; fun, as well as a bit provocative at times.

Feel free to register, post your comments, or simply to read “what’s up” with this entire web based community. When I am not here blogging, I’ll be popping in over at our forums to see what is going on.

Thank you for stopping by!

Regards,

Matt Keegan :-)
