CJC: Making Very Good Progress

My third day of working on the Corporate Jet Catering site is resulting in some very good progress. I am moving at a pace faster than I had expected, but I Wine Displayknow that this is the last day I will have to devote to the changeover so extensively.

New Zealand, Guam, Samoa and several U.S. states were moved over today in addition to Canada and Mexico. We never did populate the South America section, so that part was simply deleted. What remains is most of the US, good chunks of Asia, Australia, and the little bit of information about Africa.

Some time over the next week I’ll make it apparent on the EZBoard site what I am doing. I did notice a new posting from yesterday and there is still traffic going to the site. That’s okay as some of the top in-flight catering locations (including California) still are featured there.

Thank you everyone for your patience as well as your input. I am sure that I’ll be tweaking some of the new information on our forums too as a couple of caterers may have gone out of business. As much as possible I verified information before making the move, but when in doubt I simply moved the information over knowing that a later adjustment is always possible.

Summer Cash — Would You?

Summer is near and people are making plans for their vacation. Is this the year that you will take that long awaited African Safari or embark on a trip to the Australian Outback? If you are short on cash, will you go anyway?

You might want to consider something such as personal loans as one way to pay for that all important trip. The cost of secured loans is relatively low, especially if you have a good income and a healthy credit history. Loan repayment plans can be developed to your particular needs and rates are still very competitive.

Visit “BeatThatQuote.com” to see if they have a loan that fits your lifestyle — enjoy your trip!

Middle East, Europe: Zap!

I’ve made considerable progress over the past two days in moving messages from Corporate Jet Catering on EZBoard over to our regular message boards. All the caterers and restaurants that were listed under Europe and under the Middle East have been moved. The old EZBoard messages can no longer be found.

I also managed to “do away” with about a half dozen of the state listings too. If there was one or two caterers featured, then I simply did those states first. Again, certain state listings can no longer be found including Alaska, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

Don’t expect me to keep working at this rapid pace because I have other projects to tend to. Still, I am satisfied with the progress and it is nice to see the new Restaurant Review and In-flight Caterers sections take shape.

Corporate Jet Catering, The Transition Has Begun

I made mention last week about the pending changes with the forums and what those changes entail for the community. This morning, I began to move over some information from the EZBoard site to the forums in a bid to get a jump on things. This will be an ongoing project but one that I hope to have wrapped up by June 1st.Pouring Coffee Corporate Flight Attendants

As I move over each bit of information, I delete the old information from the EZBoard site. That way, I know for certain what has been moved instead of moving everything piecemeal and risking people adding additional information to the EZBoard site. The only way I can shut off the old site is by deleting everything, but that won’t happen until after the project has been completed.

Everyone’s comments will be moved over, with proper attribution given. One thing that does concern me is that there is information that is at least three years old, so I cannot verify its accuracy for today. As always, it pays to contact the caterer for current information well before you plan your trip. I would hate for anyone to land in, let’s say Idaho, and find that the caterer is no longer there. Feel free to add your comments to our forums regarding information that is outdated or include your personal information about that caterer.

Likely, I will be reserving the bulk of blogging here to keep people informed about the progress. Of course, you can see how I am doing by visiting both sites.

Thank you for bearing with me as I plod through the transition.

Today’s Hottest Infomercials

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, infomercials have been around for decades now. “As Seen On TV” is one of the oldest expressions in marketing — the stamp of validity for some of the most popular products available.

How many can you name? Here are just a few for your consideration:

Space bags
Driveway Alarms
Laser Straight
Smokeless Ashtrays
Self Tan Kit

Literally, hundreds of products have been marketed and the TVProducts4Less site has all of and at deep discounts too!

Corporate Flight Attendant Related FARs

Several months back I updated the Corporate Flight Attendant Related FARs — Federal Aviation Regulations — that are on this site, mostly updating links and clarifying a couple of my comments.

Not every FAR related to corporate flight attendants is required — for example, information about safety briefings is omitted — instead, I included those FARs that speak to when and how a corporate flight attendant would or could be used on a private jet.

You can read additional FARS online as well.

Employee Performance Review Software

The next time your chief pilot wants to talk to you about your performance view, make sure you look him straight in the eye. If he keeps looking away, then you can expect the worst review. If he looks you straight in the eye and still gives you a bad review, then you work for a heartless individual. I am kidding, sort of.

Employee Appraisals are usually not all that fun as they can be nerve wracking and a bit confusing. If it seems that your boss isn’t doing such a wonderful job with his reviews, maybe you should refer him to ManagerAssistant.Com to find software that could help him do his job better.

At least he’ll give you kudos for the referral!
